About the book
& its title…
This book documents how I was led one scripture at a time from believing the Pre-Tribulation Rapture doctrine to embracing fully the Post Tribulation Rapture position.
This was not an easy transition for me. It took literally decades of study, prayer and fasting. I didn’t know anyone personally who was struggling with the discrepancies between the Pre-Tribulation doctrine and God’s Word. I continually wrestled with scriptures that contradicted what I had been taught.
I prayed, “Lord, show me the truth directly from your Word and I’ll believe it, no matter what it is.” It wasn’t until I finally let go of what I wanted to believe that I saw the truth.

He led me to Revelation 22:18-19.
Revelation 22:18-19 KJV
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
I can’t adequately express to you the impact it had on my ability to cut through all the lies to discover the truth.
Once you pull out all the doctrine that has been added in to scripture and put back in all the scriptures that have been conveniently overlooked. The entire Bible makes more sense!
To my surprise, I discovered that the New Testament is not the only source in the Bible for end-times doctrine. The prophets of the Old Testament have a lot to say about it as well.
The Bible is not segmented; it has a continuous thread of redemption and judgment, ending on the eternal ‘Day of the Lord’. While this term is almost never used in reference to the rapture by today’s preachers, Paul used it and so did Peter. But they didn’t come up with it on their own, there is a whole list of Old Testament prophets that used the term ‘Day of the Lord’ in reference to the coming of the Messiah.
Many of them also spoke of the disturbance of the sun, moon and stars just prior to His coming. While many of the Jews missed the prophecies related to the coming of Jesus as a baby, most of them were aware of the prophecies of the Second Coming.
None of the Old Testament prophets spoke of a secret, silent rapture seven years prior to His coming to rule and to reign. Not one, and to my surprise, neither did the New Testament writers!

About the Title
‘Where’s Jesus? I thought He’d be here by now!’ will soon be the silent cry of many who are struggling to hold on to their faith through turmoil, confusion and persecution. For those that have been taught that Jesus is coming before the tribulation, it will be puzzling to someday realize that the peace treaty referenced by Daniel has been signed, and the rapture has not yet happened.
In the three and a half years that follow, persecution will intensify and the economic structure of the world will disintegrate. Natural disasters will deplete the ability and will of the government to help those in need. Food will become more and more difficult to buy, and violence will dominate public places. Family members will come around only when they need something, and distrust and betrayal will be the norm.
Perhaps at the point that confusion has turned to dismay, many who have rejected the possibility of a Post Tribulation Rapture will be willing to re-examine the scriptures, no longer for the purpose of preparing for difficult times, but so they can determine if there is a reason to refuse the Mark of the Beast. Sadly, many will feel that Jesus has lied to them and will now scoff at the idea that He is coming back at all.
My prayer is that this book will find it’s way into the hands of Christians (Pre-Trib, Mid-Trib & Post Trib) and be a source of encouragement, when from the deepest part of their heart they are crying out, “Where’s Jesus? I really thought He’d be here by now!”
